Player’s note: Egay Billiones is a true winner who defies gravity as he soars to the sky fearlessly against big men. He is considered one of the fastest and good shooting playmakers beyond the three-point zone.

He was dropped by the Gin Kings after picking him up in the 2000 PBA rookie draft. With no any takers, Billiones decided to play in the PBL for Blu Detergent and the Express selected him as rookie free agent in 2002.

He played for Air21 (FedEx) from 2002-2006 before he was signed by Talk ‘N Text in 2007 and then he returned to Air21 after the Phone Pals released him before the 2008 Fiesta Conference.

Achievements: None

Career-high: Delivered a career-high 23 points last May 28, 2008 as the Express defeated the Red Bull Barakos, 119-100.

He erased his previous high 21 points, which he recorded twice – the first on April 4, 2003 with FedEx in a 95-93 loss to Alaska in the All-Filipino Cup and the recent at Talk ‘N Text in Game 5 of last season’s Fiesta Conference Finals against Alaska.

More about the player: Billiones loves to excite the fans with his back flip after making his free throw especially in crunch time.

Statistics: Finished only with an average of 4.5 points per game and 1.4 rebounds in eight games played last Philippine Cup. It was far from his usual 11 points average last year under former TNT coach Derrick Pumaren.
